Lords was established in 1985 with opening its first shop in Gerrards Cross providing DIY and gardens products.
A further branch opened in 1987 trading from Westbourne Grove, London, W2. later changing its products profile from retails DIY to light-side Builders supplies. Lords Builders and Timber Merchants provide both retails and building trade clients with almost any requirement, from hand and power tools to sand and cement, from plaster board, plumbing, electrical, flooring and ironmongery to architectural ironmongery and all the basics such as screws.
The success of those branches led to the opening in 1994, of the Lords Homecare and in 2000 Lords Decorators Merchants branches also in Westbourne Grove. Homecare added gardening equipment, toasters, kettles, vacuum cleaners and bags, bulbs, and light fitting to our product portfolio. Lords decorators Merchants specialise in paints, varnishes and waxes focusing on major brand leaders such as Dulux, Leyland, Crown, Ronseal and Bona Tech.
In 2001 a heavy side builder merchant was acquired and relocated to a 13,000 sq ft warehouse in Park Royal NW10.Lords builders Merchants has the capacity to distribute aggregates , bricks and blocks in bulk quantity and specialises in brick matching for your new extension or house build.

Community Support
The business continues to review its product range making way for up to date and innovative products to meet our customers ever changing needs. As we need to make way for these new products discontinued stock is often donated to community and charity projects. Liaise directly with your local store to be kept informed as and when this activity will happen.
